Our club tournament (German: Kolbenturnier) demonstration shows exceptional horsemanship from our knights on our highly educated horses. It shows beautiful peagantry – horses decked out in caparisons in each knight’s heraldry, tournament helmets with grand crests and flowing mantles, and of course beautiful armour.
The knights are armed with wooden clubs, and their goal is to knock off the crests of their opponents. Tournament winner is the the knight with the most of his crest left at the end.
