15th Century Austrian Harness

A late 15th century harness in the Tyrolean style, based on the fragmentary harness CH S25 from Churburg castle, made in Innsbruck. This kind of field harness would have been used from horseback and also on foot. It features a classic German style sallet with long tail, large pauldrons, and high cuisses, as well as fluting, which was very typical on this style of armour.
