Aliyana is a 3/4 Andalusian mare who loves dinner, and annoying her favourite geldings. She is an excellent height for a medieval horse, at 14.2 hands, or 147cm. Aliyana is a late greying horse, which means we get to see her coat change from black to white over several years.
She’s been exposed to all the weirdness of Living History life since she was started under saddle, and isn’t too fussed by any of it. She has participated in parades and demonstrations, and has taken everything in her stride.
Aliyana has been training to take part in the melee and skill at arms. She has a strong understanding of the basic lateral movements, and is starting to work on learning some more fun stuff.
She is very inquisitive and approaches everything she encounters with curiosity. She especially enjoys tasting things, including shoes, flags, timber clubs, and just about everything in between.
