We held the annual King’s Horses Mounted Combat Gathering at Narrawin Stud in November. It was the usual fun two-day event with friends, where we play with weapons and horses and everyone learns new things and gets a chance to practice on foot and on horseback. As usual, we also had a session with “foot troops”, which is beneficial to all the horses.
Several people had the opportunity to ride Phoebus, from a couple of novices to experienced people. He is one of those rare horses that will be a safe horse for beginners as well as being great fun for someone who can explore his more “fun” skills. It was also a chance to give Furahi her first big group session and she did well. In addition to Algernon and Aliyana, Keldan and Brana also got to play, and there were some visitor horses.
For the most part, we were way too busy and having too much fun to take photos. We are already looking forward to next year’s KHMCG!
