An English harness from the 1370’s. Based on the funerary effigy of John Harsick. With some of the finer details and construction techniques copied from some of the few surviving appropriate pieces of 14th Century armour.
Some pictures from our “arming the knight” demonstration at the 2022 SA Medieval Fair. They show the arming garments and process of adding the armour pieces until the harness is complete.
