Sparky – a.k.a. Gneisti von Roetgen (Imp.GER) is an Icelandic stallion. Born in Germany, he first went to NZ, before landing in Australia. He is the sire of a bunch of nice riding horses. Between stud duties, he enjoys other challenges, which vary from beginner lesson horse to trail riding horse, horse archery mount, skill at arms horse, and of late jousting as well.
Being an Icelandic, Sparky is not a tall horse, but in addition to walk, trot, and canter, Sparky can toelt, which is a smooth, even-timed, four-beat gait. He has a terrific nature, is fearless and keen and a good sport even in mixed company.
